Skill Level: Beginner

This course covers the use of the Pediatric Assessment Triangle to quickly and effectively assess the pediatric patient.

Skill Level: Beginner

This course is an introduction and education on how to use the Ferno KangooFix Neonatal Transport Device.  These devices were purchased through a grant from the Maine Department of Health and Human Services - Maine CDC, the Maine Medical Association Center for Quality Improvement, and the Maine EMS for Children program.  A device was made available for every Maine EMS-licensed ambulance service transporting patients based in Maine.  The devices enable the safer transport of newborn patients and those weighing up to 11.1 pounds in an ambulance.  The presentation, quiz, and feedback form must be completed to obtain CEH credit.  Credit will be automatically applied to your Maine EMS licensing account. This course is made available through the Maine EMS for Children program, a collaboration among the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, the Maine CDC, and the Maine Medical Association, and we are grateful for their expertise, support, and collaboration.

This course, number 25-43169, will award a total of 1 hour of continuing education in the Medical category upon completion of the presentation, quiz, and the course review form.
